Light Leaks & Letting Go

Light Leaks & Letting Go
A Holga Film Workshop in St. Augustine

Dates: April 19 & May 3, 2026
Investment: $300

Holga photography resists precision.
With its plastic lens, unpredictable light leaks, heavy vignetting, and dreamlike blur, it asks something different of the photographer — patience, intuition, and surrender.

Light Leaks & Letting Go is a two-part immersive analog workshop designed for creatives who feel drawn to texture, unpredictability, and slower process.

Part One — April 19
We gather in St. Augustine for a guided exploration through historic streets, coastal light, and layered architecture. You’ll learn how to load 120 film, approach metering simply, experiment with double exposures, and lean into imperfection rather than fight it.

One roll of film is included. Holga loaners available.

Between sessions, your film will be professionally developed and scanned. You will not see your images immediately. The waiting is intentional.

Part Two — May 3
We reconvene for a full image reveal and gentle group critique. Together we’ll reflect on surprises, accidents, and the unexpected beauty that emerged.

This workshop is open to all experience levels. It is experience-based, not skill-based.

Limited to 6–8 participants to maintain an intimate and focused environment.
